Cortechs.ai and GE Healthcare extend collaboration

Cortechs.ai and GE Healthcare to empower MRI scanners with quantifiable clinical insights

(San Diego, CA) Jan. 26, 2016 – Cortechs.ai, a leading medical software innovator providing solutions for quantitative brain volume analysis, and GE Healthcare, are pleased to announce a collaboration, making Cortechs.ai’ NeuroQuant®, a volumetric imaging solution for MRIs, one of the first software applications available in the GE Health Cloud.

As a result of this collaboration, NeuroQuant, the first FDA cleared and CE marked medical device software for volumetric MRI processing will be fully integrated into GE Health Cloud’s clinical workflow. Customers subscribing to NeuroQuant through GE Health Cloud will have their 3D T1 sagittal MR images automatically uploaded for processing with NeuroQuant to get quantified reports added to their study results. The full workflow integration will allow for streamlined processing of brain structure measurements, providing physicians and clinicians faster, secure and seamless clinical integration to help deliver better patient care. This agreement extends the existing collaboration between Cortechs.ai and GE Healthcare announced in early 2014.

“At Cortechs.ai, we are always looking to provide physicians and clinicians seamless capabilities when using NeuroQuant,” commented Guri Stark, Cortechs.ai’ CEO. “Partnering with GE Healthcare to bring NeuroQuant to the GE Health Cloud significantly simplifies the process of receiving quantified results that benefit many physicians and clinicians in their assessment of neurodegeneration by providing faster, secure and mobile accessible results.”

“This partnership with Cortechs.ai confirms our commitment to providing healthcare professionals with enhanced quantifiable clinical insights. By incorporating Cortechs.ai’ volumetric image processing into GE Healthcare’s cloud-enabled workflow solutions, we are enriching the data that we can provide through the GE Health Cloud,” said Evren Eryurek, Software Chief Technology Officer for GE Healthcare.

The NeuroQuant application is currently in beta testing with the GE Health Cloud, with final production release anticipated in mid-2016.
